Noob with First Question

Greetings all! Just picked up a new-to-me 2014 Bright Yellow ZL1 with 67xx miles. The paint is nearly flawless, with only a chip on the driver's door handle.

The other day I noticed there is no "Camaro" badging on the sides of the car. In some of the pictures I've seen online, many of the 14's have this badging but some do not.

Being the natural-born worrier that I am, I am wondering if there is reason for concern. The AutoCheck report shows no accidents and actually scored the car a 94.

I'm bringing the car to an indy shop on Friday for an oil/filter change and to have them give it the used car once-over. Yes, I should have done this before buying the car but I fell in love and patience is not my virtue.

Anyway, what are your thoughts? Is this normal? Would there be side badging, depending on the build date?

Looking forward to being part of the collective here, as there is always so much to learn but these forums always cost me money.

Many people remove the "Camaro" fender badges for various reasons. I removed mine because I thought they were tacky as Hell.

The previous owner removed the lettering. You can purchase the stencil part from Chevy parts and re-apply it if it bothers you. Some hate the lettering, and others (such as myself) prefer all of the OEM badging.

I was looking for one of these responses, thanks for not letting me down.

Like everyone else said it the previous owner just removed them. I also removed mine when I got it, no reason to have Camaro all over it it's pretty obvious what it is so all those extra badges look tacky IMO.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't even think they were stickers; being an old-school guy, I assumed they might be metal with a couple prongs punched into the sheet metal. One less thing to worry about.

I wasn't going to take the noob bait before I got my answers. I've seen way too many threads in other places started by noobs which then morphed into WWIII.
