$1000 to spend at dealership
Alright. It's my Bday today and the wife surprised me with a $1000 dollar credit for a local GM dealership. Credit can be used for parts or services.
I have a 2012 LS. Just yesterday I bought oem 20" rims (no tires) and fog light kit for the whip. What should I spend the $1000 on? It has to be stuff / services from this particular dealership. PS. I should add that I'm more of a DIY kinda guy, order parts online usually as the prices are typically way cheaper. |

Put some new tires, then buy some Camaro apparel. Save the rest for maintenance if you don't DIY

Order a bunch of Camaro swag through your dealer. I could blow $1k on that stuff in a matter of minutes!

Can the $1000 be spent not at the dealer? For that $1000, you can probably get from anywhere else what the dealer would want $2-3000 for.

Might as well use it on something worthwhile, and there's plenty of nice parts available via the GM Accessories catalog. I agree buying through GM Parts House the best route though otherwise.

Through the dealership? Yikes...most parts can be had from GM Parts Direct for half the price.

Get a ZL1 steering wheel. That's less than $1000 right?

good luck getting them to honor it.
when we bought our ford escape they gave us the same deal, until we tried to use it. went to get some goodies for the escape, the parts counter guy says "oh no,that card is only for oil changes" i said umm oil changes are free and if i couldnt afford to change my own oil i couldnt have bought the truck. went back and forth and then did the same with the manager for awhile, said screw it and never went back, needless to say that dealer is on my "do not call" list now.
