BUT with this car and its limited production numbers you will NEVER see another one on the road

and if in 20 years or so this will become the COPO of the 21est centery and be extreamly collectable and you will get all your money back plus extra

i feel its worth every penny IMO

do the math lets say 20,000 camaros were built this year world wide i bet its more but go with that number only 50!!!!!! were made offical this car thats less then 2% of all camaros built and if you want to get even rarer 25 blue 25 red thats very extreamly low numbers NOT TO MENTION its only sold at ONE dealership thats it
Good point and in general I agree. Since I'm local to Denooyer / Redline I've been trying to pay attention to what they have been doing. It's actually more rare than you might think. Those build numbers you see by the headlight - That's a number used for each special build no matter what the engine cofiguration. Not every car is the same. They are built to order based on what the customer wants. Car 45 is a 454. Car 46 might be an LS7 427 Camaro, and car 47 might be a custom Vette. I have not see every car they have built, but only know of 2 454 builds, cars 45 & 21. I'm sure ther are a few others, but many of the builds have been LS7 cars or modified LS3 cars. I'm thinking to date they have only built 50 - 75 cars, and they are for customers all over the USA, so the odds of seeing another HTR car in your area are very low.

As for being worth more down the road, it's possible, but I feel at the moment, Redline has not been at this long enough to have the name recognition like some of the other builders (Hennessy & Lingenfelter). They need to keep building and get as many out there as they can so that they become as well known as the others that are doing similar builds.

Hi,

So I may have missed it somewhere, but does this car come with a warranty?

Also, I see a lot of comments about a ZL-1 being $20K less. Is ZL-1 pricing available now? I read about the 'possibility' of 570 hp or more coming, but that is about all of the news I've seen recently...

Thanks, Steven

Howard and all of the crew at Redline are top shelf! I was fortunate enough to spend some time at Redline recently, it's like locking up an alcoholic in a liquor store, just can't get enough of what they do. Awesome cars!

No pricing has been announced for the ZL-1 yet, but people have been speculating the ZL-1 will be in to 50K - 60K range. The car in this thread is really in a different class than the ZL-1. HP is in the same ballpark for the ZL-1 with mods and the 454 as you see it here, but there are many differences between the 2 cars. If you want a supercharged Camaro, buy the ZL-1. If you want an old school Musscle car with modern comforts and technology, go with a Redline car.

Amazing how the individual coils screw up the look of that engine... too bad it cant be like it was with a remotely located coil. I get that you get a better spart with individual coils.....

Looks great. I would love to have a LSX454 but with no badging or striping, sleeper waiting for the kill.

This car looks incredible.

They do all kinds of work at Redline. Spoke with Howard last week, even though my project won't be nearly on this scale, he gave his full attention. Their pricing is very good too!
