SLP Loudmouth 1 Review

I installed the SLP Loudmouth 1 and a Spectre CAI on my 2015 V6 Camaro. There weren't many good videos available that do the V6 justice with these mods. So I made one, hopefully it will help someone who might be interested in these mods. More information in video description.

It is extremely loud and mean, perfect for my tastes.

Thanks brother. I'm happy with it. I was honestly scared it would sound like a Subaru with a fart can. I think I might add some catless downpipes next. No emissions testing in Alaska.

Install was super easy, didn't even have to jack the car up. Did it in my driveway with a sawzall.

Not a great picture, but shows how much less space they take up vs the stock mufflers.

Don't worry, I realized the TB side of the boot was backwards and fixed it. Was a little excited installing it.

Note for anyone installing a Spectre CAI, you WILL have to trim the front ear off the engine cover. Zipped mine off with an angle grinder and filed it smooth.

Would this exhaust even pass an inspection since it looks like there are no mufflers? Asking because I'm interested...

I have no clue. We don't have that stuff in Alaska.

Is it ridiculously loud? I was thinking about getting the loudmouth 2. Does it have a low growl like a muscle car? Is it between a fart can and a v8 with a nice deep sound?

It's not a V8, don't expect a V8 sounds. It sounds like a mean V6, and yes it's loud. It ain't no Subaru with a fart can. It's a quick, high revving monster. It sounds more exotic and high pitched. Watch the videos. I would describe it like a baby F1 car.

On a scale of 1-10 how much do you think this exhaust pissed your neighbors off? I want this but I'm worried about waking up the family and neighbors every cold start in the morning haha

It's not very loud at idle. I doubt anyone inside my apartment complex can hear when I go to work at 7am. I can do a video later, haven't started my car yet today.

I don't know what rasp is. I hear people talk about it a lot. Reminds me of hipsters arguing over how many shots of espresso go into their coffee. It's just loud.
