Lol...If it has 241 heads it's an ls series motor. As far as what the internals are in the short block who knows. That said a cammed ls1 is no joke and would be the fastest car 98 percent of the population drove....

Try calling Ed Hamburger at Specialty vehicle Engineering. He owned SLP back in the day before he sold it to Roush. He may be able to help.

You probably don't know zip squat about a 4th gen, let alone any gen Camaro. Buzz off. Oh, and you've been reported. Have a nice day.

How do you know it has an aluminum balancer?
They have to be EPA certified (or Canada's equivalent) leaving the factory. They would NOT sneak in something at the factory. And even if they did, there needs to be documentation to prove that the parts were factory-installed. What's the build sheet say? Should be located in the glovebox. Also, the service parts identification label. Is there LS1 on it? If so, story ends here. At first glance, there may be mods to that engine, and it was done AFTER the car left Ste Therese assembly. Dealership could have had them done by SLP or someone else, although you would think there'd be some documentation of that happening as well. If plugs are fouling, something is wrong with it.
