Wow, this is F'd up.

here is my take on it

1. Dealer screwed up.
2. Dealer tried to cover it up.
3. GM said DEALER would have to eat the cost of repairs.
4. Dealer took easy/cheapest way out, not wanting to replace the entire engine.

Again, this is just my opinion and in no way reflects what is actually going on, and I hope I am wrong.

In the end, I hope everything works out for you...Good Luck

New motor has been ordered and will be here tomorrow or Wed.

I'll be taking the car and new motor to a new dealership to have it installed.

Ed and myself are working on finding another dealer to do the install currently.

I'm interested in knowing why the install is going to be done by a different dealer?
Did you insist on that, the exec from GM request or insist on it, or did Nash insist or recommend it?
