My dealer called today and had the invoice to my car!! WOOHOO!

Now, he looked up my workbench, and it said I was still at 3800, but on the invoice it said the car shipped on 6/6 and was expected to arrive on 6/18.

Am I missing something?

Also, there was the extra charge for the IOM paint, but they called and had it removed.....

Any ideas here???? I would really love to have that car by next week!

Tell him to look in the full Vehicle Event History section not simply WORKBENCH. Last I knew, my WORKBENCH still showed 3800 and I've had my car for 3 weeks.

Mine never moved from 3800...was at 3800 the day I picked her up.

I'm in the same situation, i'm still at 3800, dealer got invoice on 5/19, still don't have a car nor any shipping ETA's. I wouldn't count on anything until you can get a railcar number. That will confirm your car is coming!

I'm similar...my car went to "In Transit" shortly after being built, still shows 3800, and has completely disappeared off the face of the earth for 3 weeks.

Mine went to 3800 on 5/27. Dealer received invoice on 5/29 and I receive my IOM 2SS/RS tomorrow with it still at 3800. No worries if you're a later VIN. Mine's 12768

We just called DBC and they told us the car had shipped to have the stripes put on? That doesn't make sense to me? I thought that was done at the factory? How bad will that throw off my date of delivery that is on the invoice??

It says on the invoice the car shipped 6/6 and estimated delivery is 6/18.

Well, it's good to at least know the car has moved since it was built on 4/29.

The dealer and the DBC are on 2 different pages....

That is correct. The "factory" stripes are done at a contracted shop in Oshawa.

was on the phone with GM Customer Service yesterday and the person said that the system gets the updated data on Wednesdays. So I am just guessing that is the reason why a dealer might now see new updates til after Wed? So, you might be seeing 3800 on Friday last week and still see the same thing on Tuesday but in actuality, your car is already moved to a new event and you will see that new event code after Wednesday. Of course, I am just guessing but it does make sense.

Mine was still at 3800 yesterday although it was on a train yesterday. I got an email from John Fitzpatrick this morning saying it was in transit. He even gave me the rail car #. I tracked the rail car to Toronto, so my car is definatly on it's way.
