Dropped my Supercharger at Kong Performance for Blower and Snout porting
Sent the Brick to DMS for reinforcement All new top Gaskets Found thermal blanket material from DEI for the valley tray Probably adding a Black NW 102mm fron Kong while I'm at it. Ill post pics of the brick, porting, and blanket when they arrive. If I ever get my Missing Active Interchiller Parts I'll install that also Hopefully if its a good bonus Year DSX Tuning E85 package with ID 1300s may be next. D.Brisson 2014 ZL1 |

I did the DSX E85, auxiliary pump and ID 1300's last winter. My next step is where you are with the blower. It should be a smile maker!

I Just purchased the Hptuners MVP!2, so I should be able to do the FPCM adjustment and grab the DSX kit.
The problem is I need to find more than a couple of E85 fueling places in Md and Nova Meeting the owner of Kong was great, he showed me how much external shop work he had, we went over my needs and the current state of my blower and the things he looks for. So far its been a great experience and I am glad I went with them. Beersngars Did you do your own injector data or did you have someone else do it? I think 1300's have to use the Double Stoich half IFR but i am not sure I have done enough research on the tables. Plus I would probably then do a JRE remote or CSP dyno e85 tune for the e85 tables in the conversion. I would just like to have the 1300 in and running when I take it to the dyno. |

Yes, you'll have to scale the 1300's. You can get away without scaling with 1050's or 850's because of the high (not attainable) deltaP once you get to the 127lb/hr limit of the E67. With the 1300's or larger you'll hit the 127 limit in real-world deltaP terrritory.

Its on and idles super. Added NW102 Boosted TB. Here are some pics, made mistake and had sensors switched, p006d will show and a high idle. Switched them back and it dropped to commanded and runs great, throttle response super crisp and quick.
Have not driven it yet but will add that and data logs shortly. |

Man, that's awesome! Looks nice. I like the bump/bolt removal in the snout area as well. You'll have to let me know where you land on the etc scalar in the tune. Some like 6700-6900 and others go much higher.

Will do on the scalar. I should have taken more pictures, Kong is awesome to work with, super fast turn around.
Of course another issue popped up my PLX-devices AFR wideband went up in a ball of smoke and now I need to order a new one anything but Plx. Last edited by d454brisson; 02-11-2019 at 09:48 PM. |

Thanks! I think Dave Steck and some others are in the 6800-range for the NW102, some are in the low 7000's and others are maxing it out. I tend to lean toward the 6800-7400 range, personally, just based on the math.
I'm about to get my diminished value check from my accident back in October and I'm starting to add up the mods. LOL. I mean, it would be heresy to put that money in anything but the car, right?? I'm thinking cam, 5", 102, and ported blower for now. Or perhaps do e85 pump/injectors/sensor instead of the 5"/102/porting. Still mulling it over. Tough decisions. Your build is inspiring me to git 'er dun, man. I just posted over in your wideband thread, too.

I had to choose between the ported or E85, the deciding factor was porting and the 102mm will get even more when moving to e85 and I don't have a ton of E85 stations around. Plus the 5 inch and 102 are a good basis for everything else.
5 Inch drivability tuning is no joke so let your tuner play with it a bit. Its a decent idle and off idle jump from the Roto Fab days. Cam is a must have, nothing like the pull and lope of the JRE rough idle. The HP and torque lines are so smooth from just that upgrade (although I may go bigger if I go in the motor again.) THis Fng PLX wideband, looks so nice and has a great display but I have been through 2 and this one decides to release its magic smoke and die. From my other thread the missing chiller parts are supposed to be here this week, so if I can piece together the cobbled instructions and no other parts are missing or damaged I' ll have that completed also. I run the 102 flipped, it cleans up the area in front of the snout Last edited by d454brisson; 02-11-2019 at 09:48 PM. |

Yep, I need the cam to really push this any farther. Boost is kinda maxed out right now for me on 93, so the cam is next for sure.
I'm leaning toward the 5/102/ported setup over e85 for the same reason- there's really only one station anywhere close to me that carries it. My tuner is me, so we'll see how it goes with the 5". Nothing else has been horrible up to this point, so I'm sure I'll figure it out.
