SS Exhaust Installed On My 2011 Camaro RS (Video)

I had this installed this morning. What's great about it is that is was fully bolt on. I did NOT have to cut or weld anything. Took about 30 min at the local muffler shop. I posted a video so you guys can check it out. I will post pics later. I love how it sounds in person. However when I let go of the accelerator I notice a distinct sound, Can you guys let me know what this can be. I'm thinking exhaust leak or ... not sure. Check it out and let know.

PS: You can watch it HD

Thanks, I was going to get an MRT but was tight on cash since I just got my camaro. I got a real good deal on this SS exhaust. Basically yes, Nicer / Biggger tips and sounds a little deeper.

It will sound even better in 500-1000 miles and every time you drive it after the cats warm up. Also paint the mufflers with flat black high temp paint and they disappear under the car.

sounds fine, but you still have those big, ugly mufflers hanging back there. Personally, I would have saved up longer and gotten a good catback....better sound & weight savings.

True, but I money is tight right now. As for weight the addition 50 lbs is going to make me or break me. Now if I weighed 250lbs + then I would consider trimming some weight around the car lol

No its not just you Poorman, I totally heard it, I actually said "oh... =("

I think it might be cheaper to just get an axle back system? Which sounds a lot better...

Also, an additional 50 lbs is a big difference sir. V6 camaro power to weight ratio is 16lbs:1rwhp. Means you just gave up 3rwhp, You get about that amount from bolt-ons lol... just some food for thought =)

Don't forget the wieght of the setup you put on as you won't save 50 lbs. My Magnaflows and larger tips are 20 lbs or so, so net you save 30 lbs or the difference between the two setups you have.
