Powdercoat wheels in ATL, where?
I am thinking about powdercoating my 45th wheels black and adding a red pinstripe. Does anybody have recommendations where to go?
And what do they normally charge for something like that? |

We have used Diversified Powder Coatings in Cumming. 770-887-7722. They have done some very good work for us in the past. Seem to really want to put out a good product. I think he does a set of wheels for around 200 and up depending upon condition, if they need sandblasted, etc. If you go by tell him you got his name from Neal @ Performance Auto Collision.

Miller's Powder Coating in Lilburn does great work.

Thank you for the input.
Is one of these two able to do the complete stuff like car on jack stands unmounting tires from rim -> powdercoat -> and all the way around? |

No, I don't know any powdercoater that will do that. You have to put your car on stands, remove the wheels take them to a shop and have the tires removed and then take the rims to the powdercoater. Then reverse after the powdercoaters are done. It's the price you pay, but powdercoating holds up much better than paint, so for rims it's a no-brainer.

Ok, I thought that. But then I have to find a shop which can offer me the rest. I have no stands, no place to put the car on stands and not that much time. I also know that that means, I have to pay for. Any shop proposals for that?
Thank you for your help. |
