I was a bit worried since I had never seen it in person, but also really doubtful about the stripes.

All I can say is "Wow". What an absolutely amazing car... Stripes?? Perfect. Color? Best. Ever.

I'll post some pics soon, but even the guys at the dealership were taking pics of it because they said they rarely see any...

Haven't stopped smiling all day...

Congrats and welcome, enjoy your new 45th. I'm just curious, are the Camaros exported to Dubai Euro spec?

Yeah that's what I'm worried about with a buff, that it'll stand out from the rest of the car.

I didnt risk taking out all the orange peel to get it perfectly flat....just wasnt comfortable since it's metallic paint.

I used the Adam's swirl and haze remover to cut the dull spot down which basically brought all the shine back, then went over it with paint revive and then buttery wax. Probably spent 15-20 minutes doing it.
Ok I'll pick up some 1500 and 2000 grit and go at it the next weekend I'm home. I probably won't do much, don't want to mess it up.

Hi Ocikat,

Not Euro, seen the funky taillights and side mirrors. The cars here are called 'gulf spec' they do something to the radiators to keep them cooler.

I had Eibach springs and sway bars installed last week. Did the bowtie delete on the front grill and removed the bowtie from the rear. Replaced the factory floor mats with diamond plate SS Logo aluminum mats. Forgestar CF10's, 20 x 9 front, 20 x 11 rear with Nitto Tires (275 front/315 rear) are ordered. Once they arrive and installed I'll post some pics.

I like these with the 45th on the side. Don't think the logo will get stepped on with it
off to the side like that.

Shoot, just saw this. Yes, out of stock online. Thanks for the offer though.
Just got the update this morning, car is built and bayed for shipping. I think I might give her the preliminary ins card for it and see if that triggers what I have done.
Seems ALL the 45th stuff is a coupe also, no convertible stuff that I have found.
Am also going to update the GMConnects with her email on her birthday too.
