I love the new GT350 and GT350R. I think it's the best looking muscle car today (better than the Z/28 and Challenger Hellcat). I want to see and hear one in person.
I can't wait to see what GM does with the 6th gen Camaro. The 6th gen Z/28 will be an absolute track beast.

I got to drive one at Road America, and it is a different animal from a GT500. It is not a 1/4 mile bruiser, but get it on the track and it excels. Keep it above 3500, you can really feel when the torque kicks in, and just let it scream up to redline. Hitting the corners, you can do things that would leave you with a lumpy smelly mess in your pants if you tried it in a GT500.
When I got home, the wife listened to me for a couple minutes and asked me when I am getting one.

It's worthy, but reporter dude--- it is a Shelby GT350, no matter what you say. The man may not be with us anymore, but what he left us is worthy of his name. Don't insult his legacy by pretending he didn't do a ton for car guys, not to mention charity.

The sound that car makes is amazing. I loved just watching the tach go from 4,000 all the way to 8200 and the car just kept pulling.

Cool video! The car sounds pretty dang good. If I were in the market I would consider that Mustang.

I've always said Mustangs can look good...but you have to do some dressing up for that that to happen. The base forms of the Mustang just don't cut it IMO.

It's not going to be cheap though....the Shelby GT350 starts at 47k...the R starts at 61k.

Agreed 100%. Ford hit the nail on the head with the GT350...and I'm NOT a Ford guy in any way, shape or form.

It sounds amazing, and from what everyone says it drives really well, but it was pointed out to me that if you compare the stats of the GT350 to the 6th Gen SS, braking is the only thing it does better. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to own a GT350, but it could very well get upset by the new "standard" Camaro.
