Hello everyone from Louisville, KY

Hey everyone, new member and new Camaro owner from Louisville, KY here. I've always been into imports prior to the Camaro. Have had countless N/A, nitrous or turbocharged 4 cylinder builds over the years but I've always wanted a RWD V8. I finally satisfied that urge this past Saturday with a new 2018 SS 6M in hyper blue. Looking forward to modifying this beast and enjoying the hell out of it. It seems to be defective however, it likes to eat the rear tires off for some reason! Light mods planned initially, long tube headers, full exhaust, intake and a tune to get me started. Window tint and some different wheels on the cosmetic side. I have to say, even having owned 4 cylinder setups that would outrun my Camaro, I prefer the feeling of the RWD V8 immensely, it just feels right. Didn't realize what I was actually missing all these years.

That ain't no joke brother. People might laugh but I enjoyed the sound of a built turbo 4 cylinder that turned 8-10,000 RPM. That said, I prefer the sound of the V8, particularly a pushrod V8. It's gonna sound a lot better with long tube headers and a full exhaust.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Hello from a fellow Louisvillian

Great to see a Louisville member on here. I had from a 2010 V6 2LT Auto Red Jewel Tint Coat which was factory ordered and just traded it in on July 28 for a 2018 2SS manual Hyper Blue Metallic with black stripes and NPP. Love the upgrade to the V8 and the control of a manual transmission. I was going to order a 2019 but when I saw pics I knew I needed to get a new 2018 while I could. No one in Louisville with the car I wanted so had to to up to Cincinnati. Not fun swinging a deal out of town, but all in all, it worked out.

Stopped by the Ky Speedway on the way home a took a couple of pics...

I got mine at Big M in Radcliff, great guys to deal with. Very easy to work with on the new car and my trade in. Had the exact color, trim etc that I was looking for too.
