Vitesse throttle control vs stealth
There are two people wanting to sell me a throttle controller on the forums. One has a vitesse and the other has a stealth premium model. How do they compare? Which has the more useful features? Which is best quality to last longest?

I did a quick GOOGLE search and they seem to be very similar. Take a look at both websites and compare. I don't know anyone running a Stealth but there are PLENTY of threads here on the Vitesse.

I have the Rev High Stealth 2.0 and I love it, it has made my car into what it should have been. I only use the Sport modes, drive almost exclusively in SP8, I find it takes alot of the lag out without being too crazy. Sport Mode 11, AKA Beast Mode is a two handed white knuckle affair. So far I haven't had any issues or CELs with it, and Rev Highs customer service is top notch. I am planning on getting a 3.0 and putting the 2.0 in my wifes Dodge Charger.

I started to get CELs with my car and I attributed it to the throttle controller, turns out my FU setting in the controller had gotten changed. It was FU0 and it needed to be FU1, which is determined by the HHxx setting displayed while calibrating the throttle inputs. Either I mistakenly changed the settings or when my battery died they got reset, my bet it was the battery. Its all good now.

Seriously though, I don't know what the F U are talking about. The Vitesse doesn't have such a setting, must be exclusive to the Stealth. We simply calibrate, then choose our SP or Eco setting.

No experience with the Stealth, but have been using the Vitesse for about a year. No issues at all, love the added response. Ported my TB a few months ago, that just made the response better.

I have Vitesse and stay on mode 3 all the time, and use 7-9 during racing. I really like the Vitesse. Took less than 2 min to install, have it mounted out of the way, couldn't be happier with it. Eco mode makes nice for long trips because it slows your jump of throttle response. Feels like an automatic almost on the 2-4 eco modes which is nice. Not sure about stealth, but almost every one seems to have chosen Vitesse over the past 6-7 years.

Bringing this thread back up from last year....
I installed a Stealth 4.0 today, anything past setting 8 and there is no way I need to go with 3.91 rear gears I had planned on, the acceleration I was looking for is all there and more, hard to explain but its like gaining massive power AND gearing at the same time,I am completely flabbergasted! P.S. still have the stock air cleaner and haven't done the octane fuse pull yet, had the car 7 days now! Thanks Revhigh! Last edited by Quicksilver2SS; 08-27-2018 at 11:57 PM. |
