Does it drive straight now?

I see you're in Virginia, which area because I live in Central Virginia and this is a problem trying to find any type of shop to do this type of work on our cars.

Looking at all the dealerships near to me, they all have at least at least 10 days out before I can get an appointment, if not longer. Seems weird since I used to be able to schedule the day of if I needed to, but now none of them have anything sooner than the week of Sep 13.

Found a shop about an hour away that just works on sport cars, so hopefully they should be able to do it.

i've been doing DIY alignments with toe plate twice a year for switching to and from my track tire set. It's been working good until now. My outer tie rods are frozen!

Agreed. I see an improvement in toe but honestly, your ‘before’ camber settings were better than the ‘after’

You either need to find a good dealership or a Chevy/race specialist.

Had similar issues getting alignment. Was told I need a pit style alignment rack which I found at les shwab tires. Have had them do it twice now and it's been the same guy. Takes his time and does a good job, guess I got lucky and found a good one

The high performance supplement. My car is a SS, but I have the GMPP lowering kit along with 1LE bars and 1LE size wheels/tires.

I circled the SS 1LE specs and they didn’t bat an eye and did it. Also had a pit style alignment rack as well.

Yes, it drives much better now. Much smoother ride and the steering wheel isn’t tilted to the left when the car is going straight. I haven’t driven it since I brought it home the day of the alignment because the alignment was so bad that the steel wire is already coming through the front passenger tire after 3 months and 2000 miles so getting the tire replaced Thursday.

I went to a used car lot in Covington which is on the border of West VA near the Greenbrier Resort. I was going to go to the Sports Car Clinic in Roanoke (http://www.wefiximports.com/index.html) as they have good reviews. That would probably be closer to central VA.

I may stop by them whenever I’m in Roanoke again since people are saying the alignment is crap still although the driving feel is much better, but I wanted to at least get the alignment better than it was before we head down to Pigeon Forge in a couple weeks.

I bet it drives just fine, putting in in spec or "in the green" as I call it, but for a 1LE the performance aspect is where you got shorted.

Getting an alignment scares me. So many places are so incompetent. You get your vehicle back worse then when you dropped it off. Part of the next service on my SS is an alignment. I will NOT have it done. My tires are not wearing odd, it does not pull, steering wheel is straight... There is zero reason to mess with it. My '07 Tahoe I bought new and traded in '18 I never had aligned once. Tires never wore uneven, it never pulled, steering wheel was always straight. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Agreed. It is possible to match left and right side camber and toe numbers exactly for each axle (or at least get them within a few hundredths). This will give you more even tire wear and likely better handling feel than an alignment like the one OP posted but many techs are too rushed/lazy to do it and don't touch adjustments that are already green or "in spec" on each corner.

I set these expectations beforehand but even then sometimes the tech is unwilling to do it properly even if the person at the counter agrees and I have to try another location. A performance shop that has experience doing custom/track/race alignments will likely be more willing to spend the additional time needed to get it right, possibly for a higher price than a standard shop would charge.

There was nothing in your "before" alignment that should have caused a pull. The toe both front and rear was f'd up, which caused the wheel to have to be off center to go straight. But a pull is a force that causes your car to deviate from a straight heading on its own when you let go of the steering wheel. It is not related to whether the steering wheel is centered when the wheels point straight ahead, and it isn't ever caused by toe settings. If your car was really pulling, then the new alignment won't fix it. Camber differential is usually the cause of a pull, but your camber is fine. My guess is your corded front tire has developed a belt shift that's causing the pull, and it won't go away until you replace it.

Both before and after front camber numbers are far enough apart to cause a pull IMO.

Ive been understanding that +/- camber of a half degree from L to R can/could induce a pull or wander in the steering.
