Factory Warranty and intake/exhaust

I've heard and read conflicting information on this. So here is my simple questionnaire to see if we can get a consensus on this question.

Intake:
1. Do you have an aftermarket C.A.I?
2. If so, What brand/model?
3. Have you taken your car to a dealer for service of any sort?
4. If so, has there been any issue/voiding/etc. regarding factory warranty?

Headers: (same questions)

1. Do you have headers?
2. If so, What brand/model?
3. Have you taken your car to a dealer for service of any sort?
4. If so, has there been any issue/voiding/etc. regarding factory warranty?

Exhaust (Cat back):

1. Do you have an aftermarket Cat Back exhaust??
2. If so, What brand/model?
3. Have you taken your car to a dealer for service of any sort?
4. If so, has there been any issue/voiding/etc. regarding factory warranty?

I'm hoping we can get some actual experiences to start trying to get a consistent view of what the dealers are doing about service. My thoughts are these three mods should NOT void the warranty since all factory sensors and such are intact, but I'm not the General.

Oh, last question for any of the above: What dealer were you at? Let's see if we can spot the good/bad dealers to visit or avoid?

They started with bla bla bla, then ended up fixing my Magna Flow Cat Back and full body kit.

Spectre Performance CAI and MRT 2.0 axel back on mine.

Honestly I think it depends on the dealer but I would probably just swap out my intake before I take the car in for warranty work. Even if the work was not engine related they would likely note that the CAI was installed and if you had a problem in the future with the engine they could make it an issue.

I don't trust any of these dealers. I think they will look to blame anything they can on the owner especially on a Camaro that has been modded.

Not really worried about my MRT 2.0 axel back.

Mufflers should not be an issue. They are for sound and appearance for the most part (minor performance gains) and such and technically shouldn't bear any weight with warranty issues.

I get some drone at 2,000 rpm also but it doesn't really bother me. I usually have the radio on or windows down. I was going to test some dynamat in the trunk just for the heck of it and see if it made a difference.

Still a great exhaust for the price.

My SLP Loud Mouth II drones a bit at 2000rpm as well. Not a huge deal. LOVE the sound of the exhaust regardless. I'm sure you'll be thrilled no matter what you put in.

I was also wondering about this issue. The first thing I want to do to my Camaro is get a FlowMaster installed, but I had heard mixed reviews about it "voiding the warranty"... so this just depends on the dealership you go to? Are you talking about having the dealer install the exhaust, or if you go in for something else? I have an exhaust shop I was going to have do mine, I didn't know if that would make a difference or not.

Only bolt on at this point that turns on a CEL is long tube headers. Other than that (exhaust, CAI, shorty headers,....) should not cause a CEL. I'm not saying it can't happen, but it really hasn't happened yet. JBA shorty headers have caused people to have a CEL, but its usually because of the installation process.

I called my dealer today, they informed me that an aftermarket exhaust would only void the exhaust warranty. And if you're taking the factory exhaust off anyway, who cares if it's still under warranty?!
