Haha totally kidding man, I'm hoping to get a discount when I turn 25. Get married...I hear that helps your rates go down!

Why would you try to sabotage him like that?! Never get married Lol

Just call them and tell them straight up you want better rates because your fixing to shop around. You'll be surprised what they will do. Geico dropped mine bigtimes when they figured out I had the house, 5 vehicles a Harley and two boats insured with them.

He most likely has multiple vehicles and an extremely high deductible.

I pay $1560 a year for my ZL1 and X5 with a $250 deductible through Geico. I'm 30.

A lot of the insurance rates depend on state laws. At 25 in TN, you get a pretty big break if you're single. Another break comes at 30. If you're married and 25, you get the bigger break earlier. Of course it depends on the ZIP code you live in, your driving record, coverages, credit score, and any multi-car/home policy package discounts.

You'll have to call your insurance company. There are simply too many factors involved. I used to have State Farm and they gave a discount at 21 and 25. A clean driving record really helps.

I don't know about other states, but that policy changed here in NJ...now you don't get the discount until you're 29 or married, whichever comes first
