Glad to hear of other 1LE owners in town. I have yet to see another. Only other non-standard SS/v6 I've seen is the black ZL1 driving up Maplecrest road a couple times last fall.
I'm up by Tonkle and Union Chapple......try to get down on Coliseum and Lima at Hall's when its nice....just had a shoulder replacement yesterday so i will be a little slow getting out this year. Parents live by Georgetown on Forest Valley....hope to see ya soon.

Yeah, I'll definitely be up there this summer. Plan on bringing my Son so he can see the other cars. I'll be looking for you.

Congratulations on the fantastic SS/1LE acquisition . How's the driving experience been?

Thanks!

Better then the 2005 GTO out of the gate, by a LARGE margin. Exactly what I expected and then some. I love the raw feeling of the road. Everything is translated wonderfully. For those looking for a "smooth" ride, they'll get it from the shock perspective (dampens very well) and still controls roll, but it's masked by feeling everything in the steering, which is what I like/want.

My only complaints are the things that GM/Chevy had to do to meet EPA and other safety requirements, and I've got parts in hand to eliminate those by this weekend (skipshift, HSA removal, as well as the MildToWild).

Again, big hats off to the design/build teams and what they've accomplished with this car. I can't even begin to imagine how the Z/28 feels to drive!
