And LOL at the composites comments about catching fire... That car could have been made of fire retardant fabric ( technically you can't burn carbon fiber cloth ) and when it's split in half like that and gasoline gets spilled everywhere you will see a ball of fire regardless.

Sad accident though.
That "Good time" cost them their lives... Not so much of a good time for their friends and family...
Sorry, it's sad but it could easily been avoided.
Think of this next time you and a friend want to have "A good time" like they were having. If it can happen to them it can happen to you...

What he did was reckless and careless...but that does not mean that he is not a professional. Even pros make mistakes. And as posted, we've all done something stupid and illegal at some point. Still to, it was said that there were tire marks all over the road suggesting that he was doing crazy burnouts and figure eights. And looking at that wreck, I'd guess they were going well over 100 mph. And toxicology tests will tell if there were any drugs or alcohol in either of their systems. So just a warning to all of us. This can happen to any of us if care is not taken while operating any vehicle or equipment. Respect your Camaros...

One of his quotes... "If one day the speed kills me, don't cry because I was smiling."

RIP Paul.

80 plus more like 100 plus. I'd say way over 100.

Well, you have to remember that famous people are all about image. Even if he was the driver, the media will report that he wasn't. Especially if they find drugs or alcohol in his system.

Agreed Bob! It is sickening how the media will cover a celebrity's death till no end, but our servicemen/women who get killed in action are covered just long enough to be counted as a number...
