If you are looking for some great snow/ice tires, I got the Pirelli Scorpion Snow and Ice tires and they are perfect. They were worth the investment the first week I had them. Trucks were sliding around everywhere on the highway this winter and the Camaro handled very well. I'm switching between those and the summer tires that came with the RS package. If you get all season tires you risk having less traction in the bad Kansas winters....good luck finding tires you need!

Once i get a second set of rims i will have one set summer one set winter but going back to all reason high performance Toyo Proxes 4. I had them on my 2000 TA and they were fine in winter...but i already told my boss that if there is snow and ice on the ground i wont be coming in this coming winter. lol

I too have the Pirelli Snow & Ice as my second set. Night and day difference
they made this past winter.

For now i think i will go with the Proxes 4 after looking into things they have a better treadwear then the PZero and half the price and just as good performance also all season and i dont need Y rated tires i have no where i can get to 185mph so why put them on the car? But once i get a second set of rims what i use for tires will change greatly I'm pretty sure. Only con to them is they are directional so that could be an issue because right now my right rear tire is almost bald and the other has more life left in it and i make teh same amount of turns both ways going to and from work...so unsure why one wore out faster then the other....

Well, if you go with directionals, you are pretty much never going to move a tire since front is different size then backs. No biggy though.

The more wear on rear tire, is it the passenger side that is worn down more? if so that common since thats usually the first power side on any setup, limited slip, possy etc.

Hey guys and gals, I just wanted to say goodbye to y'all! I traded my 5thGen today. If any of you Wichita area folks want a complete set of barely used LS wheels, tires, tpms, lugs and beauty rings - let me know. $750.00 and you won't slip a bit come snow time.
