I had a 99 SS without a front plate. Had the car untill 2010 and was never pulled over. I've had a few looks from the police but have not been pulled over in my 2010 SS.

Im in maryland no holes and since i know every cop in the county i dont have a prob. I guess being a
firefighter helps too. Ive been pulled over by MSP's finest and the fastest ive been let go for was 96 in a 65 5 days after i got the camaro

Nope... Been stopped a number of times for all sorts of things.. BUT never had a ticket for not having the front plate.

CA requires front plates....3 of my cars have no front plate....I average 2 tix each year. I just send them the check each time.

Washington requires the front plate, but I've never put mine on.

I've been pulled over a few times, as well as some other interactions with police during accidents. Never had anyone ask about it.

nothing makes the Camaro front looks uglier than a state lic plate.

I live in NJ and I got pulled over about 3 months ago and again yesterday because of plate and tint but got out because of a PBA card. I will definetly need more of these cards to avoid a ticket. I am thinking of the retractable plate. I just like the way it looks without the plate.

Nope not putting on, and if/when i do get pulled over for it i'll say "Hey buddy how about pulling these vettes over in this town?" not one vette here where i live have any front plates on.

lol, same here, it is not on, it is not going on, i am just waiting on my new plates to come back im changing the registration to AZ, only one guard here says anything and he finally gave up, lol

It had it when I bought it and I took it off. Have not been pulled over and I see at least a cop a day I would say, and I've driven it almost every day for 7 months.

I live in Wisconsin, and front plates are required here, but I don't have mine installed. When I picked up my new 2011 at the dealer, my salesman asked me if I wanted the front plate bracket installed. He said most guys don't want them 'cause it messes up the looks.

I told him no, just throw the bracket and spare plate in the trunk and I'll take my chances at getting a ticket.

So far, so good ..... knock on wood. I'm a sensible driver and I watch my speed. I got a spot free driving record and I figure if I ain't breaking any other laws, the cops ain't going to mess with just pulling me over for a missing front license plate. I figure if I do ever get pulled over, I'll just show them the bracket and plate in my trunk, and hopefully they'll let me off with a warning.

This thread reminds me; wasn't there someone who installed a hideaway plate in the lower grill so it looked like they didn't have one at all?

No way. I don't understand what purpose it serves, if a cop needs to run your plate they will be doing so while parked behind you.
