I've had mine on for 3 years with no problems. You don't need to put tape or anything else on them.

Kind of a neat look, I would have to see them in person to make a judgement on whether or not I like them. That being said, I fully support adding appearance changes to make your car unique!

Had mine since the company put them out for sale...Drove to Indy Camarofest3 & to Houston CamaroFest5 with mine on the Camaro from Tulsa OK..had no problems still don't & running them on my SS today!
