Outdoors Cover

Any recommendations for an outdoor cover? Looking to get paint correction and ceramic coated, but the car is street parked so looking to preserve the condition.

Thanks in advance!

I would leave it uncovered with a good coat of wax on it. Park it in the shade and on pavement/concrete when you can.

I don't recommend a cover if you are going to still daily the car and then cover it. You really need to wash the car and dry it completely before covering them.

I like the Covercraft NOAH fabric covers for storing my cars.

In your case it is probably better outdoors without a cover. Any dirt and moisture will get trapped under, and wind movement can turn it into sandpaper.

Hmmm... Interesting

I guess i’ll just rinse the dust off every other week. Assuming it should be easier to keep it clean after ceramic coating.

Thank you all!

Also, get you a "California" duster to dust it off. They work great for us down here to take all the dust and pollen off the car..

I use a cover from carcovers.com but only if I won't be driving it for a week or so and during storms.

I cover my car every day at work, if I don't it will look like this after one day...

And the windshield is almost impossible to look through because of the tree sap and bird's precision targeting system... I washed my car on Wednesday and that picture was taken on last Friday, its even worse today.

Its hard to find a proper cover that fits. I've had some good luck with a few that have a soft inner layer and that have straps that hold it down so the breeze won't sandpaper the paint. I wax often and use the spray wax and wax wipes on the areas that would get the most abrasion about once a month or after every few washes.

Man that's rough, would hate to have my car be in that situation. For winter storage I'm very happy with my coverking coverbond 4. Have extra straps for the front and rear and a strap lock for the center so it wont blow around. Car basically looked like it did when I covered it a couple months later when I took it off to check it out and start it.

I've had my duster for so many years. The thing works great.

Is that sap all over that car?

If I were you I would put a cover on it if it’s outside. It will scratch it up bad. Don’t ask me how I know.

Join the club of keeping it waxed and having to wash it triple the amount
