Roll window up and down light?

Ok, So this just started last night but I was driving in my car and then in the center display (like where the speed limit and car information is shown) it says to roll my driver side window down and then back up, and then I do it, and the warning sign doesn't go off. I haven't done any mechanical mods to my car and so it wasn't anything that I did, but I have absolutely no idea what it means. If it doesn't stop I am gonna take my car to the dealer to see if they know what it is, but I was wondering if any of y'all had any idea?

You might want to try indexing both the driver-side and passenger-side windows. Maybe that will clear it???

BTW- the "...like where the speed limit and car information is shown..." is called the Driver Information Center, or DIC. There have been a lot of sometimes funny posts related to the car's DIC...

If the light did not go away after doing the relearn, the relearn was not performed properly.

I know it seemed really straight forward but when or if the light comes back on, make sure the car is in park, car not moving, hold the button down for a couple of seconds after the window is rolled all the way down and the roll the window back up and also hold the button for a couple seconds when its all the way up and that should do the trick.

If this is what you did and it did not relearn, you have a problem with a module or component and you should get it diagnosed to prevent you windows from losing their relearn and being stuck half way open or closed, to prevent a costly water damage etc...

These car can lose their window learn from day to day sometimes, dont ask my why they just do.

Thanks for the help! I think I wasn't holding down the switch long enough while rolling them up and down because it went away once I held it down for 10 seconds or so! Thanks!

Sounds like an electrical problem. Could be battery or grounds. Has any work been done on the car recently ?

Check easy things first. Battery voltage (how old is the battery?) and battery connections, especially negative cable connection to trunk floor. As you have an early year 5th gen there were known problems with the trunk ground that was fixed with a Service Bulletin

Those are classic signs of a battery going out in these cars, it may even test ok with a voltmeter, but it probably fail a load test.
