Thanks.
Currently in work doing that now. Just got these back last Friday from the paint and body shop. Will try and install this week.

OEM ZL1 side skirts/rockers installed. They look fantastic. It's a bit of a trek to install these. Purchase, get them to a auto paint and body shop, have them painted two tone, pickup, remove the SS rockers, install the new ones after making the modifications for the slightly wider fit. Oh, and the cost is about 3-4 times more than aftermarket rockers.

After all is said and done I'm very happy I did it, really makes it look more aggressive.

Your Camaro looks awesome, VmaxGen2!

It appears that your Camaro is lowered. If so, what kit is installed?

Hello DC5, and thank you for your kind words sir.
It does look lowered, but it's not. The tires/wheels are MRR017Ss, F 20x10, ET 23, with 275/35s and R 20x11, ET 43, with 305/35s. The 35s really fill the wheel well nicely giving it a somewhat lowered look, eliminating the gap that comes from a 30 profiled tire.

The stance of your vehicle is perfect, IMO.

Perhaps I should change tire size in lieu of installing the factory lowering kit.

Out of curiosity, did you run into any issues with the Stabilitrack / ABS with the tire size difference between the front and rear?

I had the same size as you and and upon accelerating a message would pop up about Performance reduced and the Traction light would flicker. People told me there can't be a substantial difference in diameter between the front and rear tires or else the nannies will think there's some sort of traction or wheels spin occurring. I Replaced my rear with a 305/30 and left the front at 275/35 and that seemed to resolve it. Just curious if you had run into any problems like that.

So far I haven't had any messages popping up when accelerating hard. Now that said, I don't track the car, drag race anyone, or really accelerate hard alot. I do step on it once in awhile pretty hard for a very short distance. I really don't have anyplace to drive it aggressively safely.
I'll keep a close watch the next time I step on it.

Looks awesome!

I wanted to do similar mods, but my own driveway is too steep for the front splitter. The wind deflectors in front of the tires are starting to tear off mine from dragging while backing out.

Thank you ....

we're the skirts already painted (other color then yours) or were they raw?

Do you maybe have some pictures showing closer the door and the fender ? Is the gap between them from the top to the bottom the same?

Thank you
