saddest sight.

I was sittin at a light when a dark blue camaro pulls up next to me. Out of respect i look over her car and all across the side the was nothing but door dents and a long key mark. Ashame how people would treat this type of animal. The camaro is not an average car, so dont treat it like one!!!

To some of us it's a just a car that we enjoy. Dents do happen, although disappointing. The keying is just malicious though.

You dont get compliments stepping out of a 97 camaro either... in a few years when the roads are satuarted with 5th gens, just like the 2006+ mustangs, it will feel and be just like any other car...

EDIT: The other day i saw a ferrari testarossa (mid 80s)... that still turns heads.

It's not average, but it's not all that exceptional either. It's still very good looking, but at the end of the day it's only as "above average" as $24k-$40k will get you.

Lets put a side weather the Camaro is above average or not, the car that is being talked about here is A NEW CAR that has door dings and a scratch down the side that this person could see, I can imagine that the other side looks just as bad!!!! I have never been able to buy a brand new car till this one and I see what Frank 1557 is saying, can't believe that someone would treat a new car like this!!!!

The camaro is like a magnet, no matter how far away you park there is always gonna be somebody who is gonna park right next to it.

As far as the one the OP seen, that could have been the work of a vindictive boyfriend or girlfriend

Some people have no respect for others property. Im sure the door dents came from people hitting their doors agaisnt the camaro when parking next to it. The scratches.. could be keyed, or branches, who knows... but it does suck nonetheless.

I get more looks in my 1975 than you will ever get in a stock 5th gen Camaro, so vintage matters not. If I can make something with big ugly fat bumpers look/sound good, it can be applied to pretty much ANY car. Now, if u just don't care about your car and don't actually own it anyways ( loan/ lease ) well, why not put dings in it?? You want a parts car 15 years from now, don't you??

The dings are preventable. it is a shame the owner didn't care to park more cautiously, at least while the car still had that new car smell, haha.

Look...I love my Camaro.

That being said, it's a mid-price-range sports car and will be quite common in the future.

Ferrari's are a far nicer car that Camaro's, as are many exotics. As much as I love the Camaro, I'd give it up in a heartbeat for a new Ferrari, Lamborghini or other supercar.

If I was given the choice to trade the Camaro for a Lambo and not pay anything sure. But hypothetically speaking, by the time that I could afford the Lambo, I'd probably have more than 1 car. I'd keep the Camaro, mod the 5#17 out of it and I'm sure I'd love driving it as much or more than the Lambo. I really have a thing for American Muscle. If I could I'd buy a couple authentic 60's/70's muscle cars. Now if I did that I MIGHT sell the Camaro, but then again, who knows what I'd do if I had that kind of money.
