Dude that sux so much he probably didn't want to get out because he figured you'd tear him apart.

You need one of these for that bumper when it gets replaced.

Evil Bee, I've been looking for EXACTLY that guard! I hope you don't mind, but I plan to print the pic that you posted, and take it to my local metalwork/ weld shop, and ask them to make that one there!

I had one done a few years ago for my S-10 truck. Bolted to the frame (does yours? Is it fully functional for pushing vehicles?), looking great, used it countless times to push disabled vehicles off of the road, or to bump- start others... yes, even 18- wheelers! That one was off- the- shelf locally, as law enforcement here, at the time, used S-10s for much of their fleet... I just bought one from their pre- fab shop, and I was good.

However, yours is the first I've seen on a 5th gen... looks good, and is what I need!

Two weeks isn't a lot of time to go through everything and make the necessary repairs. Keep on top of the shop and make sure that your using a shop your insurance company will warranty their work.

Sucks you were hit but it sounds like you're ok and you'll be back behind the wheel soon.
