TRANSMISSION COOLER FOR THE L99?

Does anyone know who sells a transmission cooler for the 6L80 auto. transmission?

Also have any of you installed one on your Camaro & how well does it work?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I've looked into this and these are the best solutions I have found. I haven't purchased anything yet, but this is what I plan to do..

Transmission cooler from PCM. Specially made for the 5th Gen Camaros. Plug N Play installation...

Deep Transmission Pan from B&M. Holds extra fluid and has cooling fins..

There are several other manufacturers that make coolers that will work on our cars. The kit I linked to seemed like the nicest option.

I did buy and install one of these. I highly recommend it. It makes checking the fluid easy, plus it gives you a way to add fluid without getting under the car.

I use a Derale 16 plate temps hang around 180 degrees with torque converter. I would recommend using the AN fittings and not hose & clamp but it's all you need unless racing road courses.

ADM transmission cooler here. Uses factory style connections instead of a barbed fitting.

That thing is not nearly big enough.

Another ADM trans cooler installed here. Prior to install, I would exceed 200° plus temps after a couple hard passes. Now I rarely exceed 180° temps.

Will the adm trans cooler fit if you have the air duct for rotofab intake?

after what happened to me i wouldn't recommend the ADM the fitting pushed off the hose. I am back on the stock cooler for now. only reason it is still on the car is i don't have time to take the bumper off.

I have a B&M in my car. To tell you the truth these things usually work while driving. The idling on hot and humid summer days will still spike to about 200. In winter it will not pass the 180 mark. But it does work, 10 to 20 degrees cooler in summer days is worth it.

Wtf. This is and old thread. Blue long island made me lose focus.
