Personally, I like the Cruze's instrument cluster better than the Camaro. The Camaro's cluster is something that has had to grow on me.

(Sorry)

False, all GM vehicles have On Star. GM vehicles with On Star and In Dash navigation can even work together, you can call up On Star for directions and they download it to your in dash navigation system. The first vehicle that will offer this feature is the 2009 Chevy Traverse I believe, but all vehicles with in dash navigation that year should also offer the feature.

I am waiting for the pop up navigation, very useful/cool feature.

Useless feature? No less useless than spending thousands upon thousands of dollars on upgrades for the Camaro. Or even better spending thousands on an upgraded audio system so people can "entertain" the whole neighborhood. If I am looking to save money I will stick with my 4 cylinder Accord.

Junkie needs both passenger and back seats, for there is to be much carting around of the pretty bitches. Should Junkie need to lower his ET, Junkie shall just remove seats at track.
Well Junkie I dont need a passenger seat because the pretty bitches sit in my lap. And when i need to improve my ET i just throw the pretty bitches out the car lol

As I remember the classic muscle cars, the most respectable ones were the ones that were stripped down, like the Z28, and made for power alone. These luxuries belong on Cadillacs, not high-performance Chevrolets. Some day, every Chevy will have a nav screen. :( That day will make me very sad. It will be the same day that GM forgot how to build a true muscle car.

I love navigation systems, warm seats, and leather, too; however, I will love them when I'm 80 years old with my classic stripper 2010-2012 Camaro RS SS in the garage. It might not matter to a lot of you guys. The option of navigation would be great because it would help Chevy trump the competition, but I want my stripper V8.

This is where mine is going..

We've also heard that GM's trying their hardest to get it back on track. I would expect the Cruze to hit dealer lots in the US as scheduled. The Asian version is already on sale overseas.

If I'm not mistaken the current Mustang and Challenger already have a Nav option. So the Camaro is playing catch up.

Or if the weather doesn't permit rolling down of the windows (wintertime), I like to put it on the drivers window as far forward as I can. Usually it fits in front of the side mirror so I can see both clearly. I just tuck the wire beneath the dash.

I use it so little it's no trouble whatsoever.

it's almost 2009, nav should pretty much be stock on all cars!

even if nav was an option, i wouldn't get it. it would cost too much, and i probably wouldn't use it much anyways. like dragoneye said, go buy a tom tom if u really need it.

The Cruze got delayed because the factory that builds the 1.4L engine for it isn't built yet. I think they should bring it out in 2009 and drop in a DI 2.2L and 2.4L hooked to a 6 speed automatic transmission. You might not get 41 MPG but it would easily get 36 MPG and you would have a much better car than the current Cobalt.
