If you want it done right, go to FLP in Naperville. I've used a couple of shops in the suburbs, and they're the best.

I'm gonna give FAST Motorsports a shot out in Woodstock.

I have had an up-and-down relationship with Speed Inc. I will say that the relationship was on the "up" side over the last few years. They tuned the hell outta my WS6. With my mods, nobody in the area was hitting over 400+ RWTQ with the same mods.

I haven't used them for actual labor, just tuning.

I hear good things about FLP all the time. My buddies family races C6 vettes on the amateur circuit. They have 6 race-ready cars, and FLP is there go-to spot for tuning or figuring out any major issues.

I would definitely talk to Speed, Inc., Modern Muscle, or Nickey Chicago. Those 3 shops have all of your needs covered.

We (C5G) are having a dyno day at FLP Saturday the 14th of April. This might be a good opportunity for you to come out and meet Dan & Tony... And put your car on the rollers for a baseline pull, & meet members of our 5th gen camaro club! You are welcome (and everyone on C5 in the area) to join us! PM me for more details and to get on the list if you are interested!

It was supposed to be a 3-4 week job... they had the TBSS for over 6 months (with HORRIBLE communication aka NONE!) and he had to get it TOWED to a different shop because they couldn't get the job done and working properly... well guess what, their poor work led to the engine being blown after 2 miles on the road... so not only was he without his car for those 6+ months now he had to have the other shop order a new engine(408 LSX I believe, so that was a plus) and fix everything that FAST messed up (which was A LOT).

Also, I personally met the owner of FAST (track day in Byron, IL... I did not race my SS(won't track it) but my friends TBSS was there that day, that's the day FAST took it from him to the shop and it was never seen again until BAM!) and most of the crew and him kept saying for me to bring my Camaro their because they would love to work on it...I just never felt comfortable with him and I'm glad I never went with them for work.

Trust me I don't do this story justice at all... my friend still has all the records/convo's (or lack there of) of this whole ordeal with them because it is that bad of a story.

Regardless to how friendly they were that day trying to get my business and after this whole nightmare with my friend, I cannot honestly recommend someone to go there for work IMHO.

Interesting.

I wasn't planning on using them for labor services, just dyno tuning.
