"Re-applying" Ghost Armor to Radio

I applied the ghost armor to my radio and followed the instructions. Sprayed on both sides, fit and squeegee.

Unfortunately, I can see the adhesive underneath.

On their site, I read general instructions on soaking it in soapy water instead of spraying.

Is there anyway I can just remove it and reappy it? Can the adhesive still work?

How long ago did you do this?

When I did it took over a week for it to fully dry and become invisible.

I did it yesterday.

So you had this too and it dried after a while?

Just let it dry. Should dry crystal clear. Give it some time depending on heat, humidity, etc. It'll look real good when it dries. In fact you can't even tell I have it on unless you look very closely at the edges.

Nice part is, if you have minor scratches, the ghost armor helps hide them just by applying. Deep scratches is another story. I've had mine on since day 2 of ownership and the radio face still looks perfect.

I bought the interior protection package which covers the radio, 4 pack gauges, and the analog gauges.

And yes op, just let it dry. After about a week you won't even be able to tell it is on there.

Thanks goodness. I'm still skeptical of the adhesive drying but I'll wait. I'm a patient guy.

Side note:
I took pride mine looked very good with the faintest scratches. To prep, I first cleaned it with Microfiber and alcohol gently. All of a sudden, scratch and haze city! I was uber upset.

I got some arcylic polish that worked great on some other stuff and it worked. While ghost armor may hide scratches I wanted it smooth and clean as possible before applying.

I was interested in this, but $35 for the radio cover seems a high price IMO.

Same here.

But I'm pretty obsessed with making sure that screen remains crystal clear. When I was in a dealership and saw an SS with a hazy screen, I made up my mind. It only takes one accidental brush with a key or ring to have to stare at an inperfection for years.

It is pretty durable and shiny. But $35 still seems high for a what I got in the mail. Kinda laughable. But I don't regret it.

The adhesive is still showing so I'm waiting until the weekend before I get upset.
