My wife had me completely changing our powder room, so I was a hermit inside. I can't complain since I stayed cool. Looks good, if I may say so myself! Ok, back to cars...

Happy 4th. I spent the day at North Star Chevy by the airport.
Walked in and saw this. After an exhausting number of hours, I had that moved to here. And a total of 7 hours later, I left to drive it home. Then I pulled it into my driveway. 2012 1.4L Turbo Eco, 1LT/RS 6sp Auto. I did my first ever lease. Traded in my Dodge Diesel that had $4,500 positive equity and did a 24 month lease with 15,000 miles a year for $110 a month. I'm nervous over the lease thing, but I thought I'll try it. The car stickers at just over $22,000 and the buy price at the end is $17,300. I'm not sure that would be a smart idea at that price, I may just lease or buy another. Also, the tires must be new when I turn it in and I'm responsible for any dents or dings larger than a quarter. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 |

Nice Cruze. I could never do a lease. I put too many miles on my cars. Tried the Smart Buy on my Cobalt. Worst idea ever.

I've never considered a day at the dealership to be an Independence Day tradition, but hey, congrats!
Leases are fine if you tend to get new vehicles every couple of years and don't drive much. We did a SmartBuy on my wife's G6 -- which we ended up buying out -- and have no complaints.

What is happening, are you twisting them off? You feel that they really aren't much improvement over the factory axles?

That sucks ass. I've read that the 1400hp axles are problematic.

Helm's 2010 Camaro Shop Manual Question?
I have a question & thought someone might be able to answer it here. Does anyone know if the Helm's 2010 Camaro Shop Manual set would similar for the 2012? I just traded my 2010 for a 2012 SS & I'm wondering if it is worth keeping the manuals?
