npp question
I have tried to figure out from this forum if i have a npp exhaust. I have a 2012 ss vert. it sure seems to me that it does. today while driving down a narrow woooded road i could hear a audible click at time of annoying exhaust change upon decelerating or excelerating. i know in changes sound changing to four cyclider mode, but this is different"audble click" i am getting a "tune" soon but till then can anyone help shed light on this.,

NPP exhaust has two tips per side and the outboard tip has a visible flap inside and a vacuum actuator above and behind each muffler.

If it's an auto with the stock exhaust then no. Autos never came with dual mode.

2012 ZL1s had it but I don't think the SS had the NPP option for 2012. Also NPP was only available on manual car or ZL1.
See if you have a quad tip exhaust.

If its Borla axle back its not NPP. The factory NPP setup is behind the axle and behind the mufflers. You have Borla dual tip axle back, not NPP.

If you had the NPP exhaust you would not have any doubts, it is loud and also pops and gurgles when de-accelerating, and is relatively quite when steady cruising on the highway. Ron
