Had a great time at Camaro's in the sand. I didn't have as much energy as Jeanette to post pics last night. Here's some of the ones I got. Pretty much the same stuff I posted on the event pictures thread.

It was tough earlier this year - 1 week every 6 weeks but not necessarily once every 6 weeks (screwy way of working around holidays, DR tests, other people's vacations). Finally added 2 newbies to the rotation in June but then one guy resigned 2 weeks ago.

May was the worst: 1 week on-call, 2 weeks off call, 1 week on call; it was awful.

I have 1 more week to go before the end of the year: the week before Thanksgiving week, unless some one else quits and louses up the schedule again.

On another topic, did you find Schmidt's at the Fair?

Gary, I like the composition with the family in the background, too... I was actually telling Rob that it looked like Ladybug was looking at them like dinner... LOL!!

Good morning folks. Wow nice pics of Camaros in the sand! That business card makes the one I made for our club look pittiful. I put the C5 welcome card on one side & our club logo, link to the club page on C5 & email address on the other side. Our National Champ Little League guys came home yesterday to an amazing reception. They have really captured everyone around here's heart. A big celebration is planned for the weekend. Last drink of coffee & time to shower & go to work. HAGD everyone & stay safe if you are in the path of the storm.

My Monday sucked.... I'm hoping Tuesday is better.

Went to leave for work yesterday, usually take the SUV on Mondays to haul cases of water, and when I put her in reverse, she started rolling even though I had the brake on. Had to put it in park to stop. I guess if the brakes are gonna fail, in the garage is a good place to do it... So, I hop in Ladybug, start her up, and my service airbag light comes on. I headed off to work, and luckily, I had extra help, so I could take her in to the dealership! They didn't have a loaner for me, but were going to get a rental. While I was waiting for that to show up, I was chatting with my salesman, and he decided I needed to "test drive" an Equinox for a couple of days So, the rental was cancelled, and I headed back to work. The passenger side airbag sensor is bad, so Ladybug will be at the dealership until Wednesday while they wait for the part. Got home, and Rob had been messing with the brakes on the SUV... It will stop now, but makes a God-awful sound. I was thinking this damn SUV is going to drive me into the poor farm until I talked with Vince, and his research and brilliant automotive mind found out that the part that is the likely culprit has been a known problem for Mitsubishi, so much that they've extended warranties on it for 10 years or 150k miles. I got the SUV in Nov of 2002, so I should be covered.... Today, I get to call the Mitsubishi dealership and try to get the repairs done there... keep your fingers crossed that it's not too much of a hassle for me!

During my 5 year stay in Duluth, I always wanted to go East to visit the Michigan UP and go to Mackinac Island to see the Grand Hotel, but never made it. A goal to achieve in retirement, when ever that will be.... Made it as far East to Bayfield, WI and a trip to Madeline Island. Yep, pretty countryside up there. Have a good trip!!

The call to Mitsubishi was a breeze! Dropping Mitzi off tonight, no charge if, indeed, it is the accumulator (I'm sure it is...) and if it isn't, they'll call before touching anything else. No hassle at all... whew!
