Just a few pictures...Davenport SC900

Well, it was long time coming but I've had the car back for a couple of weeks and its running great. There were some serious challenges putting this together but it was all worth while. The Lingenfelter LS7 427ci went in without issues and the guys at the shop spec'd out and had Comp build a great cam for the motor/blower combo but the transmission said "no way". It had to be taken out and was sent to Jannetty for a rebuild then re installed, works great. We bored out the snout on the blower from 90 to 102mm and put on a Nick Williams 102mm throttle body but it kept closing the throttle blade at high rpm's. Nick designed and built a new gear set to gain mechanical advantage with the throttle body motor and no more problem. Dyno and road tuned the car on 91 octane pump gas and got 737 rwhp and 670 lb/ft of torque running 14 lbs. boost.

The car runs a 10.60 sec 1/4 mile at 130 mph in 35 deg heat and 5600 DA but I'm sure with cooler temps, better air, race gas and a couple degrees of timing it could touch the high 9's.

Anyway, went out for a cruise today and took a few pictures. Sure is good to have it back.
