Former Ford owner looking for reputable Chevy dealer in MD-VA area

As the title states I am about to be a former Ford guy. My 2018 GT's engine blew before 1,000 miles and despite being a Ford owner since 1990, I think it's safe to say I am done.

I am looking to buy a SS/1LE and want to know if there are any dealers to go to first or any to avoid in the Maryland/North Virginia area.

thanks

JD

I had a great experience with Jerry's in Leesburg.

Will also add for balance that Manassas Chevy were uncompetitive on price and I didn't care for the churn sales of Koons Tysons.
Criswell in Thurmont were very proactive via email and i felt would have been great to deal with. Had Jerry's not had the right car at the right price I would have worked with them based off that limited experience.

I second Jerry's. Bought my 2017 through them. Koon's is good too and might have a little cheaper prices but might be a harder bargain.

Koons seems to have decent prices but I’ve never tried to buy from them. I’ve gotten good deals from Radley in Fredericksburg

Koons has a great selection, good prices but wont haggle down too much. Koons Tysons had 8 1LEs on the lot but I ended up at Ourisman Rockville. Only had two Camaros, both 1LEs but they were willing to deal and did so via email. However, that may have been a fluke as my salesman was on his way out the door. Was fired the day after selling me my 2018 1LE. Out the door for 41,500 with PDR back in October 2017.

I've bought cars and trucks from Herritage and Ourisman of Bowie too. Both were good experiences.

Koon's always has a lot of 1LE's either on their lot or on order. They are very proud of that and will not Dealer trade any of them to other Dealers. That is what the Manager told me. My only option at the time was to get mine from them. It was not a bad experience but not a good one either.

I have to ask. What happened to the 18 Mustang that caused the motor to fail? Is the dealer buying the car back? Or are you looking to trade it in on the 1LE?

At this point, not sure what happened in the motor. All I know is I have 2 really nice chunks of aluminum engine block and a mutilated piston ring on my kitchen counter.

Buyback probably won't happen, so I will be looking at a trade-in, which will hit me in the wallet pretty hard.

Mike at Chriswell Chevrolet is your best bet, he is the top Corvette sales person in the entire country. Something like Gathierburg Maryland, near the southeast corner of Pennsylvania.
