I went with aluminum block this time with same 6 bolt heads but using 1/2" studs this time to be extra safe

Who supplied? With the amount of boost you're looking to run, I would think you had it resleeved.

I'm also using the 1/2 inch studs... Still lifted the LSA heads... 4 bolt block...

1/2" studs on these blocks don't help much.

We've run 24 lbs on four bolts. My problem came into play when we lost boost reference and spiked 30lbs momentarily and went lean on one bank... We are adding fuel capacity to eliminate that occurring again, and all boost will be referenced directly to the intake manifold to eliminate what happened...

We still have the car. Takes some time to get the custom made pistons and crank in. Then precise block machining ect. We are not in a huge rush due to the weather.

If you use a 6 bolt head on an aluminum block where is the next weak link when adding lots of boost?

Assuming your using a 6 bolt block, the tune plays a huge part.

Ha!! There is no rush. I won't drive that pos until the spring. It's only been a month. Not bad at all considering the amount or work don has to do. I visited with it last week.
