If I had enough money, I'd keep one in the garage and just save it for later. I'd drive the hell out of the other one. It's like a pair of shoes for most teens. You want one pair of white iversons (reebok question) with the orange marshmallow tip for your school basketball team, but you also want to preserve the whiteness and not get scuffmarks cuz it's a beautiful looking shoe. Solution, wear one pair and keep the other for special occasions when you want to look your best (clubs, movies, parties and what not).

Orrr...not to be rude...you can take real good care of one pair. And make them last forever. My Father did that. He bought his first car, a new 1979 Camaro Z28. I'll swear to the heavens if it isn't still sitting in our garage, taken out every week almost to be driven around. Still runs like a champ, and not a spot of rust on 'er. That Car is what started my love for cars in general, then I learned which was the best: Corvette, a legend in every way. Then I learned which was second best and the most fun; to talk about and to drive...our beloved Camaro.
I can only aspire to be just like my father in that I still have my baby after 30 years. |

While I'm new here...I've read a lot of the forums (not all though)... I don't think I have read a definitive on whether or not a RS version will be available. Specifically hidden headlights. Any word on this?

The only thing we know is there won't be hidden headlights. We don't know if there will be an RS???

Hideaway headlights have actually been made into a no-no (i think), I'm guessing its a safety thing. That is why the Corvette doesnt have hideaways anymore. Can anyone back me up on that??

No V6 for me. But, the Z28 is not slated for the initial production...is that right?

We don't actually know one way or the other. Most believe it wil make it's debut with the Convertible...a few believe something else, though. |

I'm pretty sure it's legal.... they just took them off the vette for weight savings and cost savings and reliability issues. |

yeah im torn if they dont have the Z28 out right away.On one hand i would like the mega horse power of the Z28.but if it does not come out right away.I may not be able to wait that long.I would end up buying the SS,and if need be just throw some bolts ons and maybe a cam under the hood.I just dont think i could see them around town and say to my self "i'll just wait another year",it would kill me.
