Manual for me and I will be 28 in july probably before i see my car. If I purchase a car it will be a manual period, if I'm given a car lol well then I don't mind it being auto but otherwise not acceptable. There is just no denying the fun factor of the manual and they want you to pay extra for an auto which is much less fun to drive, does 2+2=3 now? Only way i wouldn't consider it if i was in bumper to bumper traffic every singlle day and luckily i am not.

Give me a F'ing break. Does not make the car more or less, it is personal preference. I am tired of the people saying "oh this car must be a manual because it is a muscle car" Fu*K that it is still an amazing car and having an Auto or Manual does not make a difference with it being a muscle car or any better. It is personal preference. The Auto and Manual has it's pros and cons like any other choice we make in life.

On order is my SS V8 in Manual/Stick. I am 24 and here is the odd part. I've only driven stick a handful of times when I first started learning to drive back when I was 16. So I am scrambling to relearn how to drive stick. I am picking it back up really quick, so atleast I wont stall coming off the dealer's lot and look like a fool.

I figured if I am getting a sports car, you should get it in stick, and well, I am young enough that shifting won't bother me and I can get it to the point that I will just have it be second nature.

I agree with you somewhat but maybe lets take it down a notch, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I mean my 68 SS 396 is a big block first gen its obviously a muscle car, its also a turbo 400 automatic. Now if I was around in 68 to purchase it would i have gotten a stick, Hell Yes but am I any less thrilled with it today nope just thankful to have it.

Nobody is saying that a auto is any less of a muscle car, they are saying from the true since of the 60's, and 70's era - "A True Muscle Car", means it is a MANUAL (period). I don't think you want to open that can of worm's!

It does not take anything away from the Camaro it is just personal preference. I'm just tired of people saying that just because it's a muscle car you must get Manual.
