Too Many Exhaust Choices

There are too many exhaust choices out there for me to decide and youtube videos don't really do justice to any of them I am sure because of poor sound quality.

I don't mind a little drone, I actually like it.

So what should I go with assuming I want a deeper tone and some gurgling?

From what I have heard the SLP LMII and the MRT v1.0 seem to fit my description the best.

Any others? Opinions?

Thanks guys I know this has been beaten to death I just need help deciding.

And there is no emissions laws in SC btw...

Did you listen with head phones pluged into your 'puter? To me it makes the sound 100% better.

A good set of over the ear headphones makes a HUGE difference!

I seen quite a few people liking the flowmaster AMT axle backs for the LS/LT's and the price is good too. Just my .02 cents

Yeah the headphones will be much better. Heck, I know for a fact if you listen to my magnaflow vids with some speakers that can't really reproduce decent bass, it ends up sounding more quiet than stock simply b/c you can't hear the lows.

Anyways...good luck with your searching!

I'm in Beaufort if you ever make your way out here. I just installed a DynoMax axle back system and it sounds great. Hearing mine might help your decision out. Just a thought. And for $400 plus a $75 rebate, you can't go wrong.

I was actually feeling the same way before I bought. I went with the LMII and couldn't be happier. One thing to keep in mind that the exhausts will mellow a small amount after a few hundred miles. The LMII are exactly what I was looking for and are equally beautiful when you see them from behind. I recommend them 100% the fit and finish is great. There is some drone, but it is much better after that first few hundred miles. They give you that grunt sound that these 6's lack from the factory.

Yeah no emissions is great and you won't have to worry about it at all in Chucktown. BTW I'm from North Charleston - Dorchester/Ashley Phosphate and I do know that the N Chas police gave me an issue when I was home on leave saying my exhaust was too loud. I beat it by saying I was home on leave and was leaving the next day. Needless to say I would be wary of the cops especially in downtown with all the tourists. Good luck man!
