Here's a shot of the prototype flicker harness. This connects to the 8-way supply harness on each side. This particular one is for the left side, and, that single wire is the Flicker Enable. Connect it to ground for the flicker effect. This is for the version where each set of two flickers as one (one harness per side).

We've worked through several issues already. The last, long-lead item is now due in on 5/16 (just over two weeks from today).
The shorter-lead items are being finished up now. All parts should be here to start building around that 5/16 date. |

That setup ended up not working in the car.
It was a standard, LED dimmer that had a few other, dynamic functions. One problem was that we would have to modify it, which would make it too expensive in the end. Also, there was no way to control those modules from one place (unless all four lamps were in sync). The lighting in the latest version's video was also not the same, so, I'll get another video when it's darker for a better comparison. |
