Onstar to the rescue NOT

Car locked and keys locked in trunk I thought onstar could help but without a valid enrollment nothing they can do. The lady said I needed to push the blue button on the mirror if I could do that I wouldn`t be wrighting this thread. Onstar gone AAA to the rescue. Currious as how they can do a remote diagnostic but can`t open the doors.Sorry had to vent.

Does suck, but yes, no valid (existing) subscription, you are screwed.

Onstar needs to have some reasonable a-la-carte prices, they would have many more customers.

LMFAO!!! "Sir, I understand you're locked out of your car. So I need you to get in the car, push the blue button, then we can help you."

Sorry to here about this man. How'd it happen?

So your OnStar trial lapsed but turns out you needed help with a lock out after all?

So if I understand you correctly, you locked yourself out without CYA and it's not your fault but OnStar?

Makes sense to me....

Yea, if you want them to provide help, it might be a good idea to have the account current.

I don't think he's blaming OnStar for anything. Just stating how stupid they are for telling him to push a button inside his car when he's locked out. Must not have been on their script...

1. Is customer locked out of his car? Yes/No
2. Doesn't matter, tell customer to press the blue button.
3. Tell customer "Sorry. Thank you, come again."

That's not a script. If your account lapses they require a button push to reactivate services, not a phone call from a cell phone. Your phone isn't connected to OnStar, your car is.

What's stupid is making a thread complaining about OnStar when the fault lies w/ the op alone.

What's stupid is an operator telling me to push a button inside my car when I just told her I locked myself out. It's just funny, get over yourself.
