Compress it in a zip file, then upload it in advanced tab under attachments.

just an update, I believe this has been resolved. The supercharger lid had a number of bolts lose with oil filing one bolt hole and some black on the gasket below. torqued them all to spec and haven't had a code driving it all week!

My list of issues to check:
1 - bad/dirty MAF 2 - SC seal, loose bolts 3- low fuel pressure 4- bad fuel When it all started I could hear the engine ping at part throttle, pinging quietens some when boost starts. It was after refuelling some. Then the CEL came on about 2 hours later, possibly LT trims maxed out. So I though small air leak. All connections to/from the SC are OK. I do have the loose bolts issue, though some were tight and I do have oil seepage all around the lid. so: Wrt (1): clean MAF (2): remove Sc lid, clean mating surfaces, new seal (3) to check fuel pressure (4) put new fuel in I will let you know how it goes. |

What tune are you running with this combo?

Sorry Patrick, I didn't see this question until now. Yes after I did all this stuff it changed. Went from being all over the place to only crazy at idle and deciel...ended up being the actuator. Changed that and it is all good. WOW all the mods and no vacuum leak really woke up the car!

Lsxtuning.com. now that it's running right I'm going to take it in to Wongs performance to dyno tune.

Allright sorry long time with no feedback, car was in winter storage, so today I actually opened the SC lid and was shocked at the amount of junk in there, I mean black crud and burned oil, it seemed to be the worst deposits at the back where the entrance to the rotors is, so I cleaned everything, put a new gasket in and retorqued the bolts. The old gasket did look flimsy, very thin, I wonder if Edelbrock makes them too thin to actually seal well. Cleared the code with the vcm scanner, and took the opportunity to install a cheap boost gauge I had laying around. Cleaned the SC well from previous oil seepage at the gasket area so I can see whether it leaks again.
Going for a drive tomorrow to see if the code comes back and get the engine heat cycled so I can check and if needed retorque the SC lid bolts. Will report here the outcome. A few people have reported failure of the bypass valve actuator being the cause of this, I suppose I will know soon enough if I have this issue after all. Engine idling, no noticeable hissing or something from the actuator itself, well the typical LS sewing maching sound of the engine was louder than any other sound in the engine bay ! |

It's crazy I had loose lid bolts, loose manifold bolts and finally the actuator. I guess if you depress them manually the break easily. I bought it with SC installed so who knows. Frustrating but after all that it is an impressive car

Thanks TA, well I did about 2000 miles over the last few weeks, and no code, actually seat of the pants wise the car seems to pull stronger, so I'm a happy camper
I'm regularly checking the SC lid bolts and with the new gasket I did have to torque them back a bit after a few heat cycles, no oil seepage to report, i guess that was it, bypass valve actuator seems Ok for now. cheers |

My buddy and I installed the E-Force on my SS in Sept. of 2010. I already had LT headers on it. Used the Edelbrock tune till I got a dyno tune. At that time it was running out of fuel at 6500 rpm. In spring of 2011 I installed the ZL1 fuel pump and installed 72lb injectors and had it retuned. It has worked for 7 years and 47k miles with no problems. Check mods below.
Do you have a catch can? When my intake was removed, there was a lot of oil in it. So I installed a catch can after installing the S/C.

Yeah I've heard good things about the reliability of this setup. I have a mighty mouse can I need to install. Then I may do a bo white tb and take it in for final dyno tuning. After fixting actuator and tuning with lsx tuning all my ltrims stay at zero.
