Defects so far

Picked up my ZL1 last Friday and noticed the headliner was cut too short, so Chevy dealer ordered one. They also had to order a new windshield, they said the windshields break when removing the headliner, I just laughed. Then today i'm applying ceramic coating to the wheels and noticed how bad the paint runs were on a few of the wheels. I text my salesman the pictures and he said they will replace the wheels when I get the headliner done. Anyone else have these problems?

Wow. Those defects need to make it back to Chevy's QC team. Maybe it was that guy in the PJs someone posted a photo of that was in charge of QC that day?

I have a small paint blemish on the hood, like there's an extra drop of paint or a sand grain.. and worst of all, a black start button..

Honestly, other than the paint blemish on the hood, I got lucky as I don't have any real issues.

Don't kid yourself.

My ZL1 had serious scratches in the clear coat straight from the factory. There was no way it was looked at by anyone.

Also, my steering wheel was crooked straight from the factory. I had to hold it as if I was making a turn to go straight.

Knew a guy worked at GM. Said you never wanted a "Saturday Car" ( built on a Saturday) because nobody wanted to work on the weekend. Maybe he was right!

When i picked up my car one of the rear reflectors behind the wheel was definatly not in right. First drive in my car was straight back to service haha. Also less than 1,000 miles later where my bumper meets the rear quarter on the drivers side it definatly isnt lined up. Oh well prolly gonna do more damage than its worth trying to get the dealer to do anything about it.

Yes same here with the bumper lining up. I was told even if they line it up perfectly at the factory it wiggles free at 172mph on the Nurburgring. We will see
