I'm 6" and I fit fine with a helmet in my 1LE with no sunfoof. I have maybe an inch above my head and even on bumps the helmet doesn't touch the roof.
I don't fit with a helmet into Camaro with sunroof. So getting 1LE with no sunroof was a pretty obvious option for me.

Echoing what others have said... Sun roof loses a lot of headroom. I'm 6' 5" with a 1LE with sunroof.

Without a helmet my head just barely clears the roof. Less than an inch between my head and the sunroof frame.

With a helmet it is uncomfortable to sit in the car for sure, however it is possible... With a little bit of a crooked neck. For track sessions 20 minutes at a time it's fine. I don't notice after the first lap. I just lean back the seat more, and tilt my head a bit towards the center of the car so my head/helmet is inside the sunroof frame.

I think the sunroof is worth it overall though. It lets a lot of light in and makes the cabin feel less claustrophobic. Plus you can crack open the sunroof to hear the exhaust more.

IDK how you do it! I'm 6'2" and have a real annoying time with my helmet touching the headliner (No Sunroof)

Your vertical seat position and/or the height of your torso vs your legs may be the difference here.

Dam. How are you tall guys fitting. I'm 6'5" and my head touches the ceiling when sitting up proper. No sunroof. Also, my knees are like 1 cm away from the dash. Could definitely use more leg room as well.
