type "muffler" into google maps

Any local shop should do it for $100-150. I have 3 within 10 miles.

give me your ZIP and I will do it for you.

..... and why do you want only the last 2' of pipe to be stainless?

Doesn't SLP sell straight pipes(Loudmouths), cheaper than most?

13021, none of the muffler shops MAKE the straight pipes. Where did I say anything about the last 2' of pipe being stainless?

Midas would be happy to cut off the mufflers and weld a pipe, but they can't make it. I need a shop that does custom work, or buy it from a shop and have it shipped. All of these companies like SLP and shit only have an entire kit for sale that is way out of my price range.

They sell an entire kit, with tips and everything. I don't need all of that.

I must have read the first post wrong. Do you have stainless aftermarket exhaust? Which part that you are having welded is stainless?

With stock exhaust, most any muffler shop will cut the mufflers out and replace it with a straight pipe. It may not be stainless pipe... but the rest of the stock exhaust isn't stainless anyways.

I figured you wanted to put stainless straights on a stock setup.

and this looks like where I would take mine...solely because they have the word "custom" in thier name:

Superior Discount's Custom Muffler Center
300 East Seneca Street, Manlius, NY 13104-1820
(315) 682-2619‎

there were over 20 other muffler shops within 5-7 miles of you

i cant imagine a muffler shop thats unable to bend pipe. my guys just cut a length of pipe, put it in the bender a couple times, lined it up, spot welded , checked for alignment, adjusted and then welded in place. then they welded the cut tips on as well.

I called them up and they think they'll be able to do all the work.. hope it's worth the hour drive.

Thanks for the info.
