That's why I tossed out that follow the natives. What that means is that if other sedans and coupes like the Camaro are out driving fine then your probably good. If they are sliding and getting stuck, then you know when not to drive.

Kinda day to day thing but also using others peoples cars as a barometer. It will go wherever your grand prix can go and like conditions.

Yeesh! I have had four Camaros now, live in NEBRASKA, where the snow is as high as an elephant's eye, and MAYBE couldn't take the Camaro out about 6 whole days in all those winters. Everybody works in this family, so does Red Jewel. Learn how to drive safely on the ice and in snow, slow down, and you will have no problems. Also the Stablitrak works great on our Chrysler cars. Prevents a lot of slippage.

thanks vash, my grand prix seems to do great so if you say it'll go where that does then i should be in good shape! i have some friends with mustangs and camaros so i'll ask them what they do in the winter and how they handle.

rmpackers, i think i'm going to do what a number of people have recomended and take it to an empty parking lot and test it!

I think it'll handle just fine when you're not stuck in the snow.. the getting stuck part is what will suck with the camaro. The other advantage to the whole second car thing is that it's nice to be able to say your muscle car has never seen a winter and not had anything eroded by salt (the wheels and undercarriage)

"Thor" had a set on him when I first got him -- drove him to the airport - and when I returned, we had 8 inches of snow on the ground and it was still coming down- I was genuinely surprised at how well he did in the heavy snowo -- both on I-94 as well as the Lodge and Fisher Freeways, city streets and even my unplowed driveway.

-- already purchased a set for Mom Settlemire's Camaro -- she lives in Pittsburgh which is nothing but hills.....
I remember first hearing about stabilitrak and was blown away by what it does - My uncle had a 1995 Eldorado Touring Coupe which may have been one of the first cars to have it.
