Hard Wiring Dash Cam 2013 2SS
Can anyone advise where best to get a an ignition live fed up onto the top of the dash - maybe in the middle up through the speaker (?) grille or possibly down from above the rear view mirror.

If you get one of those carpet dash covers you can leach the power from the fuse panel on the drivers side and run the wires under the dash cover.
You might be able to tuck the wires along the windshield if you don't want to use a cover.

I ran the cable under the headliner at the windshield, tucked it into the pillar seam, peeled the weather stripping back and ran it down to the fuse panel.

I might be a bit of a numpty on this one but there's no fuse box inside my car (at least not that I can find).
