Nice kill I'm not understanding how it came down to a bad driver either?

Not saying that you didn't win, just think about it a more powerful car with less weight M6 from a roll to lose to a heavier and less powered car and auto at that. Its very clear the GT500 had a bad driver. At a track I'd put my money on your ZL1 any day. From a roll I'd put it on the GT500 with a skilled driver.
OP you still have a killer car I'm not taking credit from it just stating what I've seen done many times over and over again

The gt has the advantage if power and weight means anything. Them two cars on there best the gt should come out on top .

I would think the Z should definitely be a mid 10 sec car no?

Should be pretty close with the mods I have. Just need some slicks.

I hear ya bro. I didn't take it personal and was joking with y'all. The GT is no joke and I'm sure with the right driver he would have pulled on me. When we both WOT, I got ahead but he was catching up fairly quickly. I am sure in the right conditions he could have gotten ahead.

Regardless, another win in my books against the rivalry :-). Hahaha

Here is a stock ZL1 vs stock GT500 ....

Good kill! But your car being a auto i don't see how you could be a better driver since the car is doing all the work from a roll lol.

Most I've raced with high RWHP never get the power down. You can bench race this to death but in the real world...GT500's taste like chicken.

op...you won the race....there are more excuses thrown around here whenever a camaro beats a mustang. Seems todays crowd is the ...you beat the driver not the car choir boys.....well. Last time i checked a win is a win. Racing is going on all over the country with guys beating the driver ..not the car. There are more excuses on here when people lose a race.......race=win or lose.....end of story.

I wish that was true giving the amount of people i have ran could not shift for shit. Nothing like pushing the skinny pedal and letting the car do all the work for you. Must make every auto car guy a better driver

Not a better driver..its not that hard to drive a manual....most guys cant shift as well as they think. Once your rolling the tough parts over. The high skill level trying to be portrayed here just isnt a reality.....cars today are easier to drive.
