Exclamation Bled the brakes but...

This was my first time bleeding them after 5 years of owning the car...

After going through the process, I still don't have a firm pedal. The brakes are definitely better.. but not where i expected them to be. Thoughts?

Keep bleeding. Farthest away to closest to the reservoir, try and never let the fluid get low. I've been in the same spot with a few cars myself and every time, it was because I hadn't bled all of the air out of them. When it's just fluid in the lines and a full reservoir, it'll be firm.

The correct bleeding sequence/order is;

1. Right Rear; Inner bleeder; Right Rear outer bleeder.
2. LF-Inner; LF-Outer.
3. LR-I; LR-O
4. RF-I; RF-O

Yeah, i was gonna go back and bleed them again, but I managed to pick up a set of used front brembo's. So I'll wait till those come in.

While I was doing the brake fluid swap (I switched to ATE super blue) I swapped the lines the SS at the same time and that helped a lot.

And as mentioned above, apparently for our car it's not furthest away to shortest, follow the procedure listed. Apparently the brake lines are routed goofy or something lol

Yea, we did two rounds and my brakes are firm. Might just have to do them all one more time

Sorry, I'm just used to calling it that lol. It was the ATE200 or whatever it's called now. Same stuff, just no blue additive

have you done a full flush? brake fluid should be flushed every 2 years.
